Beyoncé congratulates daughter Blue Ivy for winning BET YoungStars Award

Blue Ivy Carter took home the 2024 BET YoungStars award and though the win was not televised, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter made sure to congratulate eldest her daughter on another big win.
The award show, dubbed culture's biggest night, was held Sunday at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. And Queen Bey and her 12-year-old daughter with hip-hop mogul, Jay-Z, were both nominated for awards. However, the Carters were not in attendance.
Blue Ivy was nominated for the YoungStars Award, which honors young entertainers who have had an impact in television, film, music or sports. Other nominees included Akira Akbar, Demi Singleton, Heiress Diana Harris, JaBria McCullum, Jalyn Hall, Leah Jeffries and 5-year-old rapper Van Van, who put on a stellar performance during the show.
Not all of the winners were broadcast during the show, and the telecast did not show the winner for this category. However, after the award show aired, BET shared the news. And mother Bey and her Parkwood Entertainment company shared the news on Instagram, congratulating the young superstar.
The post read, "congratulations to Blue Ivy Carter on winning the 2024 BET Youngstars Award!"

This is just one more big win for Blue Ivy, who holds the title as the youngest person to ever appear on a Billboard chart due to her feature on her dad Jay-Z's 2012 song "Glory." Recently, her younger sister Rumi Carter broke her record as the youngest female artist to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, thanks to her feature on Beyoncé's song, "Protector."
Blue Ivy also remains the youngest person to receive a BET Award after winning the Her Award for "Brown Skin Girl."
Of course, she's following in her mother's footsteps. The "Cowboy Carter" creator was nominated for five awards at the show, including best movie for "Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé," best female R&B/pop artist, best collaboration for "America Has a Problem (Remix)," viewer’s choice award for "Texas Hold 'Em" and the Her Award for "16 Carriages." She won the viewer's choice award.
