Jack Leiter,Surpassing the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 MLB Draft, will make his MLB debut with the Texas Rangers on Thursday, the team announced.

The 23-year-old joins five other rookies – including pitcher Cole Winns, who debuted Sunday – on a Rangers roster brimming with both young talent and experienced veteran leadership, particularly on the pitching staff.
